• Resolving raised issues clarified by Customer
• 1st Tier Testing using available Test Data

Quality Assurance

• The role of QA Analyst is to test the map in accordance with GAP and Map Kit. EDI Testing involves the following steps
• Study of GAP for understanding of Business Logic
• Study the record iteration sequence
• Test output for multiple test data for logic Validation
• Progressive code Testing to improve quality & compactness of map
• Populating expected output based on test data & logic (Validation) and then verify the actual output (Verification) in the GAP by using color indicator (usually red) for bug identification
• Mapping Factory uses Ultra Edit and Beyond Compare Tools for Map Testing

Map Delivery and Deployment

Once a map has been tested and passed by QA, the map is ready to be deployed for Production. A package is created by the Mapper containing the following file

• Mapping file in EDI Translator format e.g. (.eif for WPG )
